US: Public anger grows as deaths top 140,000

Coronavirus cases are surging across the United States. COVID-19 has now killed more than 140,000 people in the US, and the case load is rising sharply across the country. California reported a record increase of nearly 12,000 new COVID-19 infections on Monday, while Florida reported more than 10,000.
