Facebook plans to hire 10,000 in the EU for 'metaverse'

Facebook plans to create 10,000 jobs in the European Union over the next five years, the social media giant said on Monday, to help build the so-called metaverse - an online world where people can use different devices to move and communicate in a virtual environment.
